Life & Hourglass...

Nothing seems to matter any longer…

 People say that love knows no boundaries,

but,

" How far our level of skill or intelligence,

or our ability to understand can go

when you realize that in a relationship

others things are more important and

should be dealt with first ?

If love is supposed to bring you peace and happiness,

and you are not feeling that in a relationship,

then you are  living an illusion …

“ Things are not as straightforward as we like to be ”

It’s pointless claiming attention of your loved ones,

when you know that you are not important enough for them...

… just because they have other priorities in life..

not you !

It’s pointless being honest with your loved ones,

when I know they will never miss a chance to flirt

when you are not together…

… just because they really think about you for a while…

but not seriously !

It’s pointless trying to keep thyself happy

with imaginary promises…

… worthless promises which in the end will not be kept.

It’s pointless being hanging around all day

waiting for him to call…

… just because his mind’s on other things.

It’s pointless living in the hope

that they will be with you one day…

… just because they need to find spare time for you.

It’s nonsense, I can’t claim indifference,

but I don’t think it’s worth begging

for affection any longer,

When the truth of the matter is very different !

God gave me the greatest gift

I ever had,

God gave me a best friend in the form

of my Dad.

will remain with me forever...
